With beautiful beaches, a laid-back atmosphere, and charming cafes, Ettalong Beach provides an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

THINGS TO DO:

The Ettalong Foreshore on The Esplanade is one of the main attractions of Ettalong Beach. This scenic spot features two playgrounds - one for little ones and the other for older kids. A kiosk right next to one of these playgrounds where you can grab a coffee and takeaway food. For a more upscale dining experience, visit The Box on the Water, a fabulous restaurant that serves seafood share plates and cocktails against the backdrop of a stunning panoramic view of Broken Bay and Sydney's northern beaches.

If you're feeling adventurous, take a stroll along the coastal walk that offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes. One of the most popular walks is the Ettalong to Umina beach walk, which is known for its excellent swimming areas.

Water activities are also plentiful in Ettalong Beach. You can enjoy a long stretch of sandy shoreline perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply lounging in the sun. You can also explore the landscape further through kayaking, paddleboarding, or sailing.

For shopping enthusiasts, the Ettalong Beach Market, held on weekends, offers a variety of stalls selling local crafts, fresh produce, clothing, jewellery and more. It's an excellent place to find unique souvenirs and gifts.

WHERE TO STAY AND EAT:

The Mantra Ettalong Beach Hotel is an ideal location directly across from the beach and the perfect seaside escape to relax and unwind. They offer a range of rooms, suites, and penthouses with hinterland, pool, or ocean views. The hotel opens straight out onto their resort-style pool, and you can enjoy views of Brisbane Water and Broken Bay.

Ettalong Diggers adjoins the hotel, making it a convenient option for dinner. They offer classic bistro-styling dining, with steaks, schnitzels, fish and chips, and a play area for the kids.

The Ettalong is a classic coastal pub with broad appeal, where you can enjoy a quality meal and a cold beverage with a slice of entertainment with Live Music on weekends. You can participate in trivia, which runs every Tuesday night. If sports are more your thing, you can catch your favorite teams playing Live & Loud on one of the Central Coasts' BIGGEST SCREENS.
